Light Up Okotoks November 17 2017
One of my favorite events of the year is Light Up Okotoks and this year it will be held on Friday November 17th, 2017. Head on down to Okotoks and join the wonderful people of Okotoks as they to kick off the run up to Christmas.
The actual lighting of the Christmas Tree will happen at 7pm but you will find many performances activities starting at 5:30pm. Santa arrives at 6.50pm so make sure you don’t miss this highlight of the evening.
Each year the event includes lighting of the Christmas tree, live entertainment, wagon rides, ice sculpture demos, late night shopping, fireworks & much more!
At the Olde Towne Plaza Stage
- Live Performances 5:30-6:45 pm
- Visit from Santa 6:50 pm
- Lighting of Community Christmas Tree 7 pm
Along Elizabeth Street
- Arts & Craft Sale, Elks Hall 4-9 pm
At the Okotoks Art Gallery
- Photos with Santa 7:10-9 pm
Other Downtown Activities
- Horse Drawn Wagon Rides 6-9 pm
- Fire Pits 5:30-9 pm
- Roaming Carol Singers 6-9 pm
- Late Night Shopping until 9 pm
