Light Up Okotoks 2018

• Friday November 16
• Starts 5.30pm
• Ends with Fireworks at 9pm
• Road closures from 4pm until 10pm

Okotoks and its residents will be starting the holiday season at 5.30pm on November 16 2018. There will be a visit from Santa, wagon rides, sugar shack, cookie decorating, craft sales, late night shopping, fireworks & much more!

Each year more than 20,000 people hit the streets to start the Festive Season.

Every Year We Support those in Need

• Please drop off food or cash for the Food Bank at the 18 Wheels of Christmas trailer.
• Enjoy some food with the Okotoks Fire Dept Charity BBQ
• Support Western Wheel Cares 50/50 for local charities
• Drop off NEW scarves, mitts, toques and baby items at the Okotoks Art Gallery to decorate the Tree of Warmth for local charities
• Drop off food Bank donations for the Okotoks and Veterans Food Banks at the Elks Lodge. They are also accepting pet food and toy donations for Heaven Can Wait.

Road closure:  Elizabeth Street, McRae Street, and North Railway Street to Lineham Avenue will be closed for all vehicles from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Incident Command Centre 

Should you need assistance during Light Up Okotoks the Incident Command Centre will be located beside the Municipal Centre on Veterans Way, they can help with: –

• Lost children or separated family members
• First aid
• Lost and found property
• General event information
